Grand Theft Auto Online is both a delight as well as a real dismay as well, for two reasons. First of all, it is the only updated portion of the Grand Theft Auto franchise that is still changing and bringing a new addition to the game.

Secondly, it is also the portion of the game that has been the most updated by Rockstar, which is why fans think that it is taking a lot of time that can be dedicated to developing GTA 6 to be divided.

Thus, with the new ‘Drug Wars’ update by Rockstar for GTAO, it seems that fans are not very happy about it, despite it being one of the most interesting and realistic updates of the game so far.

Recently, Rockstar Games updated their fans that they are updating Grand Theft Auto Online yet again with the latest ‘Drug Wars’ update. They wrote in their tweet announcing, “Los Santos Drug Wars injects a new psychoactive strain of chaos into GTA Online on December 13. Join up with a band of misfits in the opening chapter of an expansive new two-part story update for GTA Online.”

Reacting to this fans have finally shown that they are not very impressed by the update. While some fans started asking where GTA 6 is, others started complaining that Rockstar is basically using GTAO as a “cash cow”.

More than that, fans were not interested in playing the DLC as it was already expanding upon the concept of selling illegal drugs in the game, and creating a new empire was not a very brilliant addition and thus makes the effort pointless.

Other than that it is also to be noted that Rockstar has been really giving their efforts to make Grand Theft Auto 6 a success, but the recent incident regarding the leaks suggested that the development of the game might get a bit delayed. But after a reassuring note from the developers, it was clear that the game might see some light sooner than expected.

However, nothing of sorts has been out for public display, thus getting a new update for the online version of a 2013 game might be a bit triggering of sorts.
