GTA 6 is undoubtedly the most awaited video game at the moment across the globe. The hype for this upcoming open-world installment is at an all-time high. Sadly, Rockstar Games hasn’t really pleased the fans with any substantial announcements so far.

Till now, there have been a lot of leaks and revelations regarding the next Grand Theft Auto. And the latest one might just end up sending a lot of fans into panic mode, unexpectedly. The huge game file and content size, revealed by a recent tweet has made the GTA fans reorganize their expectations from the upcoming title.

An account that goes by the name of GTA 6 NEWS on X (formerly Twitter), recently dropped a nuke-size leak on social media. While mentioning an anonymous leaker, the account wrote that GTA 6 may consume around 750 GB of space for its installation. And that’s because it will reportedly feature about 400 hours of content, filled with multiple cities to explore and venture into.

The leaked intel in the screenshot shared by the X account claims that GTA 6’s install size will also beat Microsoft Flight Simulator. The latter is currently the ultimate storage eater on many players’ systems; it demands 190 GB of space. In case the aforementioned leak turns out legitimate, it will surely make the fans worried. Currently, most of the console models don’t usually come with a storage capacity of even 1 TB. This means installing GTA 6 on them will eliminate the chances of keeping any other game.

When it comes to PCs, not everyone has a huge budget to spend on buying extra SSDs or HDDs, especially after spending about $70 (sometimes $100) on a video game. Oh, and there’s been a flying rumor based on the awaited title’s price as well. According to several scoopers, it may end up charging $150!

Anticipated time of GTA 6 official reveal and some content sneak peek

Some of the industry insiders believe the game could be revealed between September and December 2023. This speculation comes from a data mined report that says that Rockstar may unveil a collectible hunt inside GTA Online. The latter keeps receiving a lot of interesting mission-centric events to provide players with great rewards. Similarly, a GTA 6-related event is rumored to take place in the next three months.

When it comes to story and characters, the title is rumored to feature two main protagonists. While one is expected to be a male named Jason, his female partner will be known as Lucia. Apart from this information, there’s not much data available about the plot itself.
