Activision will reveal the next major Call of Duty later this year. Looks like the publishers are putting in all their efforts on the promotions for the much-awaited game. After all, it will be a brand new FPS premium, picking up after its underwhelming predecessor MWII. Moreover, the latest update regarding the title may increase its hype even more among certain fans. Especially, those fond of collecting exclusive items with each new CoD release!

To add to the enthusiasm, in a Walmart exclusive there’s a physical Collector’s Edition that exists for Modern Warfare III. Yes, that’s absolutely true, and interested players can even opt to have it. Unfortunately, there are a few caveats they will need to face after ordering it. Not to mention the pocket-burning price of $149!

There are various editions of MWIII available for pre-order, each with its own benefits. This includes Vault Edition, PC Digital editions, cross-gen digital editions, and more. Players can pre-purchase them right now to gain early access to the campaign and the Open Beta. And now there’s also a Limited Collector’s Edition. It was just recently unleashed on popular online retailer Walmart.

Speaking of platforms, the Collector’s Edition is available for PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X\S. Here are the items players will get upon buying it:

  • WALMART EXCLUSIVE Bundle: Game included but not packed into box during shipping
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III game SRP of $69.99
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Collector Box.
  • Game Case with disc
  • Bronze-Washed Resin Wall Plaque Featuring Ghost (10”H x 8”W x 1.75”D)
  • Zombie Night Vision Metallic Poster (12” x 16”)
  • Set of Eight (8) Enamel Collector Pins
  • Set of Four (4) Special Edition Lithographs (4” x 6”)
  • Exclusive Collectible Retail Box Packaging

This special edition is only available at Walmart at the moment. And it is available for $149.

However, what’s confusing is that it won’t offer the owners the main Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III game when they receive it. Basically, they will get it, but it won’t be packed into the Limited Collector’s Edition box.
