After last year’s mess, Ubisoft seems to be back in form now. This means the house of Assassin’s Creed and its publisher is right back to revealing microtransaction-ridden live service titles that would be a decent hit at launch.

As proof that it is getting right back on track, the company has announced its own showcase called Ubiforward for 12 of June. It seems this showcase will be focused on a bunch of announced and unannounced titles, especially this year’s centerpiece, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. But it looks like they have some more stuff planned before that.

Ubisoft is all set to introduce Assassin’s Creed: Mirage fans to its development process!

Assassin’s Creed: Mirage was announced in 2022 as yet another rehaul of the series. Technically, it can be called a back-to-the-basics kind of deal rather than a rehaul. It would ditch all those RPG mechanics of Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla and have more focus on parkour and stealth mechanics.

Some developers are calling Unity its closest inspiration. Here’s hoping Unity is its inspiration only in gameplay mechanics and not in a buggy launch. The amount of time it takes to come out points to this game is a much more optimized experience.

Many are still skeptical, though. To clear the air with those games, Ubisoft has finally announced a series of videos. These videos would give fans a look at the development process of this game. It would tell them about the hardships that came with it. Finally, this series of videos would also introduce some new mechanics that this game introduces.

It is refreshing to see Ubisoft being so transparent with its fans regarding its latest game. Fans are hoping to see much more of this game through these videos and some more during the upcoming Ubiforward event.

Other than this, Ubisoft seems to have much more in store like Massive Entertainment’s Star Wars game and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Who knows, Ubisoft might even be holding some aces up its sleeves other than these obvious contenders. All fans can do to know more now is to wait for the 12 of June.
