Assassin’s Creed Mirage is almost here! As we get closer to October, gamers come closer to getting their hands on some of the top titles set for release. It included a range of titles, such as Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, as well as Metal Gear Solid. With five major titles set to release, turns out there is place for one more. And the competition is set to intensify.

Fans of the Assassin’s Creed Franchise are well aware by now that Mirage is set to release this October, which is set to be a jam-packed month with many major releases. However, the latest news spells a bit of good news for the Ubisoft fans.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage shifts October plans for gamers

October will mark the release of Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, The Lords of the Fallen, Metal Gears Solid vol.1, Alone in the Dark, and Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. This poses an interesting conundrum for players; which to play first. Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the new Lords of the Fallen’s release had a gap of just one day. However, it looks like Ubisoft came to the rescue.

In a new announcement, Ubisoft revealed Assassin’s Creed Mirage went gold. With a release version of the game ready, it means the game can come early. Consequently, Ubisoft moved the release date to October 5, an entire week before the previous release date. For starters, the news brought a smile to fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, especially since they get their hands on the game a whole week early. Going gold means the game will have lesser bugs. Mirage will be less plagued with bugs at launch, a big plus since fans of had bad experiences from the Unity launch.

What is even better is that it creates breathing room between games. After Mirage’s launch on the 5th, Lords of the Fallen comes on the 13th. It is followed by Alan Wake 2 on the 17th and Spider-Man 2 on the 20th. Lastly, we have the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1 set for the 24th and Alone in the Dark for the 25th. By moving the release date for Mirage, Ubisoft has made things better things for gamers. It allows players to take time with the game, explore all areas, hone their skills and complete the game before the next games release, especially since completing a game like Mirage before the release of Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake 2 will be a mighty task.
