Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is releasing soon, and fans are waiting eagerly to roam around 9th-century Baghdad. The Ubisoft franchise’s newest title is likely to feature tons of new gameplay mechanics that are speculated to be unseen in any AC title previously. The devs are leaving no stone unturned to give the players an experience of a lifetime. With this goal in mind, the devs are reportedly in the works to make a shirt with haptic feedback.

The shirt will reportedly let the wearer “feel the impacts” while playing Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. In a recent interview, the project was revealed and has since been highly discussed among the fans as to what they should expect.

Assassin’s Creed: Mirage will launch in October this year and the gameplay trailer has hinted some truly exciting features in the gameplay and mechanics. A new XP progression system will also probably catch players off guard. Now, the devs look to turn more heads with the haptic shirt that is a collaboration between Ubisoft and OWO. Fabian Salomon announced the concept of the shirt in a press release recently, claiming it will be an “exclusive experience“.

By leveraging OWO’s ground-breaking technologies and expertise, we are able to immerse players in the world, sounds and sensations of Assassin’s Creed Mirage in an innovative and enhanced way.“, said Salomon. Maybe this is the focus of the developers that will ensure the exclusivity of the game as well as its real-life effects.

A shirt that can kill!

While the shirt does claim to make players feel Basim’s sensation, many hope the apparel won’t also mimic damage from an arrow or a sword slash. Gaming manufacturer OWO also says players will “feel all the impacts the avatar experiences.” Now, since Basim also is prone to wild and horrid visions, let’s hope those haunt us as well.

As long as the shirt doesn’t end up with someone losing their limbs, we’d be happy to check out the shirt’s features. AC: Mirage will also feature a lot of parkour in the game. The shirt will apparently mimic some of the physical sensations of Basim when he’s trying to shake someone off.
