As the TwitchCon ended on the 10th of October, Twitter got to witness some of the weirdest things on the internet. This happened when the Queen of ASMR Amouranth was asked by her fans to put her foot on their male fans’ backsides as they bent down, making an ‘I own you gesture’.
Amouranth owns her fans with a weird gesture
As the TwitchCon San Diego 2022, ended this October 10th, the last day saw some absurd gestures by Amouranth. Although, this year’s TwitchCon was already weird and shocking enough for many reasons, what fans got to witness on the last day was even more bizarre.
This was also noticed that Amouranth had a whiteboard up saying, “Stepping on you Encouraged”, thus making it formal for her meet and greet session to allow her to step on their fans’ backside. Although many fans approved of the gesture, many backlashed saying that “we must be stronger than this”.

Many fans even pointed out that Twitch’s take on such matters is surely in a grey area, making it difficult for the fans to make sense of the gesture. Notably, fans actually paid her to step on them and click pictures like this.

Went to an anime convention couple months back and dudes would go up to female cosplayers and ask them to step on them for a picture. Honestly I feel like most folks do it more for the memes (though there will always be the occasional weirdo).

Why do fans think it’s okay?
Many fans and steamers thought that it was alright for her fans to demand such an absurd thing from her. This was mostly because of the fact that she was getting paid for the gesture and fans actually wanted her to do it to them. Thus making it a matter of personal consent between the two.
Honored to have @Amouranth step on me at #TwitchConSanDiego 😵💫 pic.twitter.com/dK642mLu7f

And since the current generation of streamers and social media influencers have a knack for such quirky things, it feels okay for a vast crowd of people.
Q –
Do they proudly display the pic on their wall? Do they show their friends…. family?
Is it cool? Am I just old now…..
