TikTok has been one of the most used apps in the US market. It also is a major competitor for both YouTube and Instagram and has a market value of worth 59 billion U.S. dollars worldwide. But for quite some time, the burning issues of cyber security and international border politics have made the Chinese app an important topic of discussion within the parliament.

And recently, it was reported that US Senator and lawyer Marco Rubio has finally represented a bill in the parliament regarding the ban on the popular Chinese video app. And thus it seems that YouTuber Keemstar has an interesting take on the matter; as it seems that according to him, the YouTube community can come back with a “force”.
YouTuber Keemstar thinks that the TikTok ban can help boost the YouTube community
After US Congress Senator Marco Rubio asked for the Chinese App to ban in the US market, many suggest that the app can pose a threat to security as it is believed that the App keeps track of several information about the device and the data. Which is used to promote advertisements and other products. It also can cause harm to the right to privacy in many ways and forms.
Thus Keemstar posted a tweet writing, “Marco Rubio pushes TikTok ban in Congress. This comes after laws in Texas to ban TikTok for gov employees.” Further, he added his own opinion; where he shared the fact that banning TikTok can be a great way to boost the YouTube community once again.
He wrote, “Personal Opinion: if TikTok gets banned in the US, YouTube community will come back in full force.”

Notably, it is also a fact that even if TikTok gets banned by the government, other companies like Vine and Twitch might use its idea to boost their own economy; and revamp their content strategy to match that of TikTok. As suggested by a commenter, “If tiktok ever got banned (doubtful it will) @elonmusk would jump so fast to launch Vine it would be remarkable.”
