Fans are currently over the moon after Nintendo’s September Direct. From exclusive remasters to new takes on fan-favorite titles, this Nintendo Direct appeared as a true treasure trove for many. Apart from 2004’s superhit release Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door’s remastered version, another Nintendo classic is brought back but in a new avatar. Yes, legendary Shigeru Miyamoto‘s futuristic racing game F-Zero is ready to entertain fans with a completely new mode. 

F-Zero franchise remained very popular among gamers and there were ten titles released by Nintendo till 2004. Now that this video game is back, people can’t wait to dive into the good old nostalgic days. Just not that, the original Art Director and Character Designer of F-Zero raised excitement by thanking Nintendo Direct for this vintage classic’s return to the industry,

For Nintendo fans, F-Zero’s futuristic plot appealed to many. After the franchise’s pause in 2004, racing game fans were desperate for this franchise’s return. Now it looks like Nintendo Direct finally approved of their wishes by bringing back this vintage classic in battle royal mode. Just not that, the game’s new name is F-Zero 99. In this new title, there will be 99 players racing against each other with just one player to receive the winner’s title. Great right? While fans are yet to digest the news, Art Director and Character Designer of the original F-Zero, Takaya Imamura said- “Thank you, Nintendo!”

Apart from surprising fans with this new battle royale title, Nintendo announced it free exclusively for Switch Online members. Additionally, players can spot the old racing tracks and cars but with a great new twist.

This new F-Zero 99 will likely have a power meter, which will show cars’ powers lowering while hitting guardrails or other cars. Now if this meter comes down to zero, players will automatically be kicked out of the race. While F-Zero 99 already made quite a buzz, this Nintendo Direct event of September revealed many exclusive brand-new titles for fans. 

Two brand-new titles from Nintendo that are worth waiting for 

From remasters to remake, the Nintendo Direct event of September dropped an exclusive bomb through its announcements. Not just remakes or remasters, there were many exclusive new titles as well, that stunned the heads of many. Two such exclusive brand-new game titles revealed in September Direct are mentioned here. 

1. Princess Peach: Showtime

Fans long anticipated a stand-alone game featuring the Mario franchise’s badass Princess Peach. Since The Super Mario Bros. movie, players have grown a super strong fan base for the princess character. Now following fans’ love, Nintendo announced an exclusively new title Princess Peach: Showtime to be released in 2024. From fighting villainous Grape to saving Sparkle, Peach will appear braver than before.

2. SaGa Emerald Beyond

Square Enix’s newest addition to the SaGa franchise was announced earlier in the Nintendo Direct event of September. Making its debut on Switch in 2024, this new SaGa title will likely offer a choice of six heroes to choose the protagonist. The player’s strategic decisions will ultimately lead the path of the gameplay.
