Want to ace your gameplay in Armored Core 6? Here are some tips to follow –

1. A kick is a very powerful move

Mechs in Armored Core 6 has very limited energy when it comes to flying, gliding, and such. This limitation becomes a nuisance when one is trying to cross a very large bridge in chapter two. The tip is to fly and start kicking; it would push the mech forward and prove much more effective than just using the jetpack.

2. Booster color

Players must have noticed the amount of customization Armored Core 6 allows for. This is pretty important for many players out there; they care a lot about how their mech looks. Many don’t know that they can even change their mech’s booster color. This booster color is specified by the type of generator they use. Just keep that in mind when setting your loadout the next time.

3. When low on energy, you can just glide!

Players who love using boosters to fly around the map sometimes find themselves out of energy in midair. To remedy this situation, they can simply keep pushing the left stick, and they will notice they are still gliding. It’s a decent trick to get to your target faster, even when low on energy.

4. Target assistance is not as helpful as it seems

To many players, it might seem like target assist is the way to go. It might even seem like the only way to deal with multiple enemies. But it’s not as effective as many think. Target assistance actually somewhat makes the homing weapons ineffective. They start missing their targets frequently.

That’s why we suggest players keep it off.

5. Upgrade your Hanger Bay

A hanger bay upgrade is something that might seem pointless at first. But this upgrade allows players to store two extra arm parts on their mech’s back. Even though they are not usable instantly, players can swap these weapons by pressing the L1 and R1 buttons anytime they want.

6. OS Upgrade redo

New players often get somewhat thrown off by the OD upgrades in this game. In the beginning, they might even make some choices that they regret later. In such times, just press square in the upgrades menu, and it will allow you to reset that upgrade for just a thousand credits.

7. Lookout before unloading your weapons

Blindly unloading your weapons on your enemies might sound like something that just works. But it’s not something you should do. Rapid firing makes you lose ammunition, overheats your weapon, and if your enemy is fast enough, it will also end up wasting your ammunition.

So, what must you do? Fire in intervals and fire carefully; this is not a Call of Duty; do not play it like one.

8. Cancelling an action helps

Players might not know this, but they can very easily cancel an action. This means if they are charging an attack with a powerful weapon, they can simply press the Triangle or Y button to cancel that attack. This trick is very effective when one is trying to preserve some ammunition.
