Some of the biggest titles in gaming have made their mark on the list of most-watched streaming categories for non-mobile platforms. One of the most surprising news in this report would be that Apex Legends has surpassed the giants Fortnite and Call of Duty Warzone in terms of viewership.

Apex Legends surpasses Warzone and Fortnite in terms of viewership

This quarter has seen some fascinating trends in streaming categories as the non-gaming Just Chatting is the most-watched streaming category with 708 million hours watched worldwide. Streamers use this service to interact and engage with their audience before and after streams. Some creators even use Just Chatting as their primary content.

 

GTA V, League of Legends, Minecraft, and Valorant occupy the obvious top spots with GTA V alone, amassing 657 million hours watched worldwide. Valorant and Minecraft have 305 and 282 million viewers respectively, owing to the immense popularity of these games.

Mobile titles have a combined viewership of 812 million hours watched. This is a sign that the mobile gaming industry is still growing and projects higher rankings for the titles in the future.
