Recently, Apex Legends Design Director, Jason McCord of Respawn, made a post on Twitter. It was a job posting and had two purposes. To get as much attention as possible. And to let players of Apex Legends know that new content will come to the game soon. The posts sent Twitter into a frenzy and thousands of people responded.
Respawn is looking for two key positions to be filled and both positions are associated with the hit battle royale Apex Legends.
Good news for Apex Legends players

Jason McCord is a renowned figure in the gaming industry and has worked on various popular titles like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and both Titanfall games among others. Soon as he posted about the job on Twitter, gamers and potential applicants got super excited. For different reasons, of course. Applicants were excited because they might get to work under a reputable label like Respawn Entertainment. And gamers were excited because along with the posts McCord made came information about what would come to the game. The new Technical Designer would work on New game modes, new Legends, new weapons, and more.
This person will work on things like:
– New Game modes
– New Legends
– New weapons and loot items
– Social systems (things like Clubs features and other new stuff)
– New gameplay toys (things like crafting, tridents, town takeover gameplay, etc.)

The other position is for a Level Designer, and in the post that goes a little into the details of what the job entails, there was another delightful confirmation waiting for players. The person who gets this position will work on huge maps like Olympus among other things.

And this is great news for players as this could mean new maps, as big as Olympus, could be on their way. With the new Genesis Collection event starting tomorrow (June 29) and the confirmation of so many new things coming to the game, players of Apex Legends are as happy as can be.
