However, veteran Esports player Shroud is not looking interested at all. Now Shroud fans know about this gamers’ love for competitive shooter titles. Therefore, he is uninterested in Call of Duty is something that surprised fans a lot.

Now almost everyone knows Shroud is a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player. His streams on this tactical multiplayer shooter game brought him over 10 million subscribers on Twitch. That is why his opinion on Call of Duty truly matters to the players. So, what did Shroud comment about Activision’s blockbuster Call of Duty franchise?

For any competitive tactical shooter game player, Shroud is definitely nothing less than a God. Therefore, his opinions truly matter to the fans and the FPS community. Recently, a fan shared a clip on their X (formerly Twitter) profile that revealed that Shroud believes- “Anyone that wastes their talent on CoD makes me sad.” 

Shroud further adds the reference to the veteran CoD player and legendary HusKerrs saying that- “It is such a bummer because he is such skilled f***ing gamer.” Shroud also gave his example of his fans being upset with him playing World of Warcraft since he is capable of playing more advanced shooter games.

Now this legendary CS: GO player believes that Call of Duty titles do not offer that competitive grind. He believed that it is good for simple enjoyment but for the true thrill of competition, one can explore Halo, Counter-Strike, Valorant, or Apex Legends. While Shroud’s advice might dishearten fans a bit, another veteran player took a break from Counter-Strike 2.

Recently, veteran Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player S1mple announced that after bringing unbelievable achievement in the title, he will take a break from playing Counter-Strike 2. This news brought much anticipation when this legendary player stepped down from NAVI’s lineup for the title. While fans were worried, S1mple revealed that he is taking a break to fix his documents and take care of people in his life. S1mple also stepped down from IEM Sydney, which also surprised fans. However, some believed that this decision was made due to S1mple’s unfinished EU residency papers.

S1mple might not be entertaining with his extraordinary skills but he hasn’t mentioned anything about a retirement from the competitions anytime soon. But following Shroud’s comment on CoD, S1mple’s break has stirred confusion among players about which game to play.
