And games that people have a hard time forgetting. Fans of Red Dead Redemption are still remembering the excellence of this game to this day. Some remember it for its story, some remember it for a detailed world and others remember it for its performances. 

Four years after its launch, Red Dead Redemption 2 remains one of the best western stories ever told 

Rockstar Games started working on this game after canceling a Midnight Club title well into its development. It is being said that this game was so big that it needed all hands on deck. When most Rockstar Games studios were working on various GTA online expansions, others were starting initial work on Red Dead Redemption 2. 

Dan Houser, Michael Unsworth, and Rupert Humphries worked on the story for this game. Eventually, it was announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be a prequel to the first game.

And it would follow the story of Dutch van der Linde’s gang and how they try and cope with change in times. Times when cowboys are becoming a thing of rarity. Times when the law became a thing and started cracking on the outlaws wreaking havoc on the wild west.

Everything worked pretty much flawlessly and the end result was a heartfelt tale of a cowboy stuck in an existential crisis. It was so successful that it spawned numerous copycats, some games like Days gone tried their best to do what it did but failed miserably.

And maybe that is why people still remember red dead redemption 2 so fondly, even after four years of its launch.

Rockstar Games is now gearing up for yet another masterpiece

While people are finding it hard to forget how good its last game was. Rockstar Games is already gearing up to reveal yet another game in its Grand Theft Auto series.

There have been rumors that Grand Theft Auto 6 would be revealed sometime in 2023. And Rockstar and publisher Take two are planning to launch it in 2024.
