Dead Space was one of EA’s most celebrated titles when it launched. While creating a game is a difficult task in itself, creating a survival horror franchise from the ground up is close to a herculean task.  And that’s exactly what EA’s Visceral Games did.

They got inspired by Resident Evil 4 and decided to create their own game where the protagonist fights to survive a brutal threat. They also made an effort and added a very engaging story to it. The story carried a very unique setup which was accompanied by a bunch of very engaging gameplay mechanics. And maybe that’s what made that game successful and maybe that’s what made people ignore that game’s biggest flaw.

Everyone remembers how the original game’s map was a mess of 3D structures. It was very hard to read it and know what’s were. It was somewhat like the map of Jedi: Fallen Order, unknowingly giving a puzzling feel. But it appears EA Motive had taken a notice of that thing and decided to fix it. This time around the map would be 2D and easier to read. That holographic 3d map is gone.

Here’s hoping that developers of EA’s Jedi: Fallen Order, Respawn Entertainment would do something similar to the upcoming Jedi: Survivor. No matter what, both these games are on the list of this year’s most awaited games. And they are looking very promising indeed!
