Nintendo Switch has completed six years in the market recently. It has even reached an important sales milestone according to Nintendo. One thing that Nintendo refuses to acknowledge though, is the existence of its successor Nintendo Switch 2.
Many people have talked about it, and some have even speculated its launch date, but Nintendo remains unmoved. They refuse to even talk about it in a positive way; they simply suggest that it does not exist. But yet another leak has presented itself hinting at this unannounced console, and this one seems pretty solid.

Sharp is a big manufacturer that has worked with several device makers for years. They have developed displays for TVs and Mobile Phones on and off for a while. It looks like this might expand to video game consoles with Japanese video game maker’s Nintendo Switch 2.
This gaming console would be released sometime next year. There are a bunch of things we supposedly know about it, given the fact all the leaks are true. It would support DLSS, it would have ray tracing, and it might run games at 2k or even 4K!
Now Sharp has hinted that it is developing LCDs for an upcoming handheld video game console. This news is getting a polarising response from fans. Some have a hard time believing that Nintendo would downgrade its next console by going back to LCD from OLED.
But others suggest that Nintendo might manufacture their next console with an LCD to keep the cost of manufacturing down. This makes sense too as Nintendo might want to keep the price of this console down, given the fact that its specs would already make it pretty expensive.
Some are even saying that this console might not even be a Nintendo console at all. There are a bunch of portable PCs launching nowadays. Even ASUS has announced one, it is being suggested that this display might be for some new console in that category.

Another crowd suggests this might be Sony’s upcoming unannounced handheld console, but once again, Sony released their last handheld console with an OLED display. They would want to up their game with this new one as the market is already pretty competitive now. Whatever it might be, it is in production, hence it would soon reach the public eye.
