Players can use various methods to fix this situation on PC. In fact, there are certain effective measures they can try out to finally settle down the visible problems. Below are the steps they can utilize in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Beta:

  • Restart Modern Warfare 3: Starting the game again can boost the servers. That’s because players will be able to get a fresh connection that may resolve the packet burst error.
  • Check the Wi-Fi connection: Players can exit from the game menu to the Desktop. After that, they should restart their router in order to see if that’s causing an issue regarding stability.

  • Disable Crossplay option: Well this is something that is only available to do on consoles, that is, PlayStation and Xbox. Sadly, PC users can’t actually turn off Crossplay. Had it been present, disabling it would have given them a chance to fix the packet burst situation.
  • Disable On-Demand Texture Streaming: Players can head towards the Graphics section in Settings. There, they will see the option to turn off On-Demand Texture streaming. Doing this might help in some way, hopefully.
  • Contact Activision: The last resort is to check the official website here. Players can just check if the game servers are active or not.

Expected content from Modern Warfare 3 after release

Activision‘s team will offer an improved gameplay experience when it comes to Multiplayer. A total of 16 remastered maps will be returning from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. Then, there’s an open-world Zombies mode too. It will be based on a PvE format while requiring the players to go against massive hordes of the undead. This experience will be set on a large map of Urzikstan. The actual objective will be to loot items, complete quests, and then extract successfully.

Last but not least, the Campaign is also coming back as usual. Beloved characters such as Captain Price, Alex, Ghost, and Gaz will be back with Modern Warfare 3. Also, a brand new feature called open-combat missions will be introduced. With it, Sledgehammer’s team has tried to imbibe certain open-world aspects into the linear format of finishing COD missions.
