With this comes a sad piece of news for Animal Crossing fans, as the probability of a new update has gone down. The studio’s mood seems focused on rolling out a range of new titles to keep Switch users occupied all through the holiday season. The chances of getting New Horizons at the direct event don’t seem high at all.
Following the latest tweet, it seems like Nintendo will keep all information about the next major update a secret. It seems highly likely that Animal Crossing will get a separate announcement of its own at a much later point.
