Nintendo’s possible plans for Animal Crossing: New Horizon for E3 2021
Kapp’n and Tortimer’s Island
Kapp’n and Tortimer’s islands were the biggest highlights of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Everyone absolutely adored them and really wants them to return to New Horizons.
Last year, Nintendo brought a new summer event, the Diving event. It was introduced so that players can relate their summer in-game and dive into the ocean to relax, just like in actual life. Therefore, developers might bring a new island, Tortimer’s Island, to make player’s vibe with summer this time.
Tortimer’s Island was the biggest sensation of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, where Nintendo organized a lot of mini-games. Players could visit the island with or without friends and take part in mini-games. The mini-games offered players some medals, which they could later exchange for some amazing rewards. Undoubtedly, if Tortimer’s Island returns, we might also see Tortimer returning to New Horizons.
Kapp’n has been a great escort and very recognizable in the Animal Crossing community. He has taken every player back and forth to different islands from Animal Crossing originals. Therefore, it would be very exciting to see Kapp’n making his way back to New Horizons.
Paid DLC coming to Animal Crossing: new Horizons
Nintendo has sold over 31.18 million units of New Horizons since its release. The rise in popularity of New Horizons in just a short period of time is remarkable. Apart from all Target’s Sanrio amiibo card and Build-A-Bear collaboration sale, New Horizons hasn’t charged its users too much.
