Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a highly addictive game on the Nintendo Switch that has succeeded in keeping the players hooked to their consoles ever since it was released in 2020. The craze for this title is such that majority of players end up spending long hours of their day curating and decorating the islands they own in the virtual world.

While Animal Crossing is a fantastic game to say the least, there’s one aspect of it due to which some players are not able to enjoy it fully. For example obtaining Bells, the currency, in this Switch exclusive can be a tedious task. It’s because in order to do so, one must have Nintendo Online. Fortunately, though, there’s now a better way to do that inside the game itself.

Top 5 ways to make Bells in Animal Crossing: New Horizons without having Nintendo Online

According to the popular YouTuber ceomg, there are multiple ways to make Bells inside ACNH. To begin with, players can do so by looking at the shiny spot on their island which only appears once a day. With the shiny spot, one can literally make money grow on the trees. Players need to dig it up and they will get 1,000 Bells. But they can even increase this number with the help of the shiny spot.

The second best way to make Bells in Animal Crossing without Nintendo Online is by making a non-native fruit orchard. In order to get the best native fruit, players will need to go to a Nook Mile Mystery Island. In case they are not able to find such an island, they can always grab few coconuts from the palm trees. Upon planting them and taking them out, they can sell them each for 350 Bells.

Then we have another method of getting more Bells in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Under this,  players must not sell through the Nook’s Cranny Drop-off box. Because selling the items through the drop-off box doesn’t help in getting the full sale price. So in order to get the full, non-reduced value of the items, like non-native fruits, players should actually go inside the Nook’s Cranny to sell all their items.

Fourth best way to make Bells is by selling the fossils. Players will need to go around their island and dig up the fossils that have spawned. However, they will need to have their fossils assessed by Blathers in order to get more Bells than selling them unassessed.

Then there’s the fifth way as well to have more Bells in Animal Crossing. Although, it’s the toughest method yet, it will guarantee the players to obtain most number of Bells whatsoever. They can do this by selling Gold Rose Wreaths and Gold Rose Crowns. But for that, the users will initially need Gold Roses.

Well one can get them by watering Black Roses with a Golden Watering Can. The catch here is that the latter is only available upon having a Five-Star island. For those who already have this much rating, they are good to go.

However, for the players who don’t have a five-star rating, they can get it by trying to increase the rating by decorating their island as much as they can. They should plant more trees, flowers, and bushes. Simply put, a lot of hard work will be required to get the desired rating. Thus, they can eventually end up make a large amount of Bells despite not having Nintendo Online.
