With the 2.0 update, Nintendo introduced many new holdable items to players. Some of these items were only limited to villagers before the update. Among those items, Duster was also introduced as a cleaning item. In order to get your hands on this item, you have to make sure you update your games to the recent 2.0.5 update.

After that, you have to visit Nook’s Cranny and purchase the item for 1,100 bells. Interestingly, the date of the sale is completely random; therefore, you might face a hard time finding it. The best way to rush those waiting days is by using the time-travel feature. With the help of the time-travel feature, you will be able to visit Nook’s Cranny multiple times.

Furthermore, once you purchase the duster item, you can buy as many as you want afterward. When you use the duster item, the player will shake the item around to create a small speck of dust. Interestingly, in Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked usage in house designing when doing a vacation home request for a few villagers.

The villagers are Dora, Isabelle, and Lottie. Since the polish feature was limited to Happy Home Paradise users, it’s very impressive Nintendo added the dust feature for New Horizons players. Not to mention, you won’t feel left out by your villagers and can participate in their cleaning event.
