Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the most popular titles in the Animal Crossing franchise. Owing to its impressive graphics and in-game mechanics, ACNH easily outshined its predecessor titles. A few months back, Nintendo itself reported that ACNH secured the second highest-selling title on the Nintendo Switch.
Indeed, it was a very impressive achievement for New Horizons to achieve such a milestone while being released for only two years. Not to mention, the 2.0 update helped developers to draw several users’ attention to ACNH. However, even after numerous achievements, Nintendo suddenly decided to stop supporting New Horizons with major updates.
Naturally, developers’ sudden notice of giving up on ACNH made many veterans furious. Interestingly, some users have already quit New Horizons as Nintendo is only re-introducing past events from last year. Read here to find out more about the upcoming seasonal events for July in ACNH.
