Animal Crossing: New Horizons has created an enormous impact in the community since its release. Furthermore, it even claimed the second-highest selling title for the Switch for last year. With such an amazing achievement, fans are wondering what Nintendo plans to do regarding the future of New Horizons.

Interestingly, Nintendo has already released Festivale-themed furniture and clothing items. Moreover, it announced that Pavé, who is the peacock villager, will appear on February 28 for the Festivale event. Players are collecting different colored feathers floating around their island to craft Festivale theme furniture items.

They have to collect four different types of feathers: Red, Blue, Green, and Purple. Surprisingly, there is a fifth feather, the Rainbow feather, which has different purposes and is very rare to find. However, developers let players craft the Rainbow feather in case they couldn’t encounter them. However, with the release of the 2.0 update, players don’t need to craft the Rainbow feather anymore.

Don’t craft Rainbow feather in Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update

Before the release of the 2.0 update, players needed several Rainbow feathers to craft various furniture items. They can craft a Rainbow Feather at a DIY station using one red, one green, one purple, and one blue feather.

Furthermore, users can give three Rainbow Feathers to Pavé on the day of the Festivale event in ACNH. Later, he will entertain them with his amazing dance performance and give players a rainbow Festivale item.

However, after the release of the 2.0 update, users don’t have to worry about crafting Rainbow feathers to collect different variations of Festivale furniture items. Now, all they have to do is purchase a bunch of Festivale theme items from Nook’s Cranny. Moreover, all the furniture items that players buy from Nook’s Cranny are customizable.

After purchasing the item, you have to take a short trip to Harv’s Plaza and meet Cyrus and Reese. By interacting with Cyrus, you will be able to customize any Festivale item into another variation at a cost of a couple of thousand bells. With the help of Cyrus, you can save a lot of time catching feathers, crafting Rainbow feathers, and customizing Festivale furniture items.
