Animal Crossing: New Horizons is based on users’ regular life, which makes it different from other open-world games. It has attracted a large community in the past year and is one of the biggest games on the Switch. However, 2021 has been a very rough year for New Horizons as it is not able to meet players’ demands.
This has resulted in many veterans quitting the game or expressing their anger online. Furthermore, no action or announcement from the developer’s team is making the situation more complicated. Regardless, just like in our daily life, there are some rarest things that can only happen if you are extremely lucky. Here are some rarest things you might not even hear of in ACNH.

The rarest scenarios to encounter in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
There are over four starter island layouts
Many players assume that the four starter islands that you get to choose are randomly generated. However, that’s not the case. There are 95 possible default island layouts based on the river. It includes different islands with respect to West, East, and South River Layouts. Interestingly, there are maybe much more island layouts other than these 95 discussed by Youtuber Dagnel.
He even discovered some more sets that were not included in the 95 layouts list he mentioned. Therefore, it means getting your specific island layout has a 1.05% chance.
Starter villagers
The first two villagers that will join you on your journey will always be one jock villager and one sisterly villager. There are a total of 24 sisterly villagers and 76 jock villagers in the game.
Thus, it means there is only a 0.055% chance of getting your hands on the specific villager you were targeting for. If you are one of those lucky players who got both villagers they wanted from start, let us know in the comments.
