Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become one of the most popular titles in the Animal Crossing series. Not to mention, Nintendo was able to generate a huge amount of revenue from New Horizons and the expansion pack. Since its release, New Horizons has sold over 37.62 million units worldwide, placing it just behind Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which has sold 43.35 million.

Furthermore, Nintendo attracted several new players to ACNH thanks to the 2.0 update. It introduced brand new features and mechanics, which intrigued many veterans to login back into the game. However, developers later announced that they will no longer support New Horizons after the 2.0 update.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons users have mixed opinions on the Bunny Day event

Bunny Day event is one of the most iconic events in New Horizons. Last year, Nintendo introduced several changes to the event, and many players expected the same from developers this year as well. However, developers didn’t release any required changes, which triggered many users.

One comment read, “I simply hate Zipper, he’s ugly af and giving me nightmares. I also don’t like the Bunny day furniture.” Whereas another user said, ” I logged in dug up two eggs and immediately said nope I’ll come back when its over.”

Interestingly, many newcomers are enjoying the Bunny Day event. One player said, “This is my first Bunny Day celebration! Zipper’s design is creepy, reminds me a bit of the Five Nights at Freddy animatronics 😭.” While another user commented, “why do people hate it? this is my first one, im excited to get home and play.”
