Animal Crossing: New Horizons Player Gets Called Out By Tom Nook For Not Being Social in the Game

Every game has a way of playing, and a player should follow it like that. What if a player doesn’t engage in a fight in an action-adventure game? Then there is no fun in playing it. Similarly, Animal Crossing: New Horizons have ways to call out a player if are not socially active in the game.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a social simulation game for Nintendo Switch released in 2020. In the game, the players redesign an inland to invite villagers to settle there. The game became more popular during the global pandemic. It became a medium for players to host social events, as they were prohibited from doing so in real life.

Tom Nook calls out Animal Crossing: New Horizons players for being anti-social

An avid Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan and Redditor, VanitasFan26, shared an exciting screenshot of their gameplay. The player visits the Resident Services for something and talks to the sly raccoon Tom Nooks about something. However, the raccoon calls out the player for being anti-social in the game.

Tom Nook said with a disappointed expression, “Yes, we… Wait, what? How long have you lived here? And you still don’t know ANYONE on the island?” The player claimed it happened to him cause he didn’t interact with villagers. Players must interact with the villagers in the game to know their needs and fulfill them.

It makes so much sense that Tom Nook would call out the player for not being interactive. As if the ACNH player does not follow the game’s primary purpose, then where is the fun of playing Animal Crossing: New  Horizons? So, we know that being anti-social is not an option in Animal Crossing.

ACNH fans share ideas with Nintendo for the next title

It’s been over two years since Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released. This social simulation became a best-selling Nintendo Switch game. However, fans always complained about Nintendo not coming up with new updates. Many believe the game to be dead now and want the Japanese giants to work on a new game.

So fans are sharing ideas with Nintendo for the future Animal Crossing title. They suggested the next game have bulk actions, like buying stuff in bulk or building many things together. They also requested that the next game introduce a wider variety of villagers with new personalities.
