There is nothing Animal Crossing: New Horizons players love more than decorating. And some players are actually great at it. For instance, one player recently recreated a scene from the famous Japanese animated movie Spirited Away. A post was made on Reddit that compared the actual scene and the recreated scene, and the recreation is astonishingly accurate.

The attempt at recreating the scene, needless to say, was successful. And the recreation looks just perfect. The embellishments enhance the visual appeal. And the futons, the table, the plant, the hanging garments, all come together really well.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Studio Ghibli would be proud

This is not the first time someone has tried to recreate a scene from a Japanese animated movie. It isn’t even the first time someone has tried to recreate a scene from Spirited Away. But that does not mean this recreation isn’t special or doesn’t have its charms. It definitely does, and this recreation looks so much better than most other recreations of animated movie scenes the game has seen so far. And the creators of the movie would certainly be proud of this tribute.

The most impressive part of the decoration is Haku, the dragon that the girl is looking at. In the original scene, Haku can be seen flying above the water outside. In the recreated version, the creator had no way of doing that, so they had to improvise. And the result was as good as can be.

The more people see other people try to recreate scenes from movies, the more they want to recreate scenes from movies themselves. And while it can be hard to get the details of a scene right, players should definitely keep at it, because the end result is worth it. Some scenes can’t be recreated exactly as the original scene was, so that leaves players the chance to use their creativity to ensure everything falls into place and looks right.
