Cherry Blossom seasonal changes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
With the start of April, players can notice changes on their island’s trees as they turn to a beautiful pink hue and cherry blossom petals. The Cherry Blossom season arrives every year between April 1 to April 10. Nintendo also lets users build a set of seasonal cherry blossom furniture.

For that, they first have to collect cherry blossoms falling from the trees with their bug-catching net. Some of the popular items from the cherry blossom series include Blossom-viewing lantern, Cherry-blossom bonsai, Cherry-blossom branches, Cherry-blossom clock, Cherry-blossom pond stone, Sakura-wood wall, and Outdoor picnic set.

There are a total of 14 items in the Cherry Blossom series; however, Nintendo has introduced a brand recent addition to the series with the 2.0 update. The fresh addition is the Cherry Blossom Rug, which increases the number to 15 items in the Cherry Blossom series. Players will need 6 cherry blossoms from the trees to craft the rug in New Horizons.

Apart from the Cherry Blossom Rug, there is another change in Cherry Blossom season 2022. Last year, all DIY recipes for the Cherry Blossom series could be found only in balloon present; however, in the upcoming Cherry Blossom season, users can find DIY recipes also inside message bottles found in Kapp’n’s mystery islands.
