Will Nook’s Cranny get another upgrade option in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Back in New Leaf, Timmy and Tommy’s store had a total of five upgrade options. This made players more excited to complete all the requirements to reach the maximum upgrade in the game. These are all the upgrade options available in New Leaf:

  • Nookling Junction is the first incarnation of the Nookling Stores.
  • T&T Mart is the second upgrade of the Nookling Stores.
  • Super T&T is the third expansion of the Nookling Stores.
  • T.I.Y. is the fourth expansion of the Nookling Store in the game.
  • T&T Emporium is the final and largest expansion of the Nookling Stores

Unfortunately, there are only two upgrade options for Nook’s Cranny in New Horizons. However, a YouTuber ceomg, found interesting detail that proves Nook’s Cranny will definitely get an upgrade in the future. With the help of a modded Switch, she discovered that there are stairs to the second floor behind the checkout counter in Nook’s Cranny.

If you don’t have a modded Switch, you won’t be able to pass the checkout counter. Furthermore, when she climbed the stairs, she was ascended to the second floor, which was pitch black.
