Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the fifth installment in Nintendo’s life simulator series. For a while now, it has remained a top-selling game on the Switch due to the unique aspects it offers. Players can completely customize and personalize their island to their liking, which performing tonnes of activities to enhance their experience.

A huge selling point for New Horizons is the fact that players can truly let their creativity loose. With tonnes of decorative items and new customization options added with every update, the sky is the limit in Animal Crossing. One fan has truly brought their imagination to life by recreating The Village from Resident Evil 8.

Reddit user masabow1018 has shared screenshots of their eerie creation. Aside from recreating Resident Evil 8’s deathly atmosphere, the user has also paid tribute to the game’s various bosses and monsters in their recreation of The Village.

Firstly, masabow1018 has recreated the human mutant Heisenberg featuring his patented black hat, sunglasses, and trenchcoat. He can be seen standing alongside his demonic robot creations from his lab. Next, the user has paid tribute to Resident Evil’s Donna and Angie, a creepy puppet and puppeteer duo.

In addition to this, there is also a very accurate representation of one of the game’s main antagonists, the frightening Lady Dimitrescu. Her character can be seen wearing her famous long white gown and black hat. masabow1018 also took the extra effort to change her character’s skin to the pale white that we saw in Resident Evil.

Fans could be seeing a plethora of new Animal Crossing content in the upcoming 2.0 update. Rumors surrounding the update indicate that the long-awaited building upgrades will finally make their way to New Horizons.
