Animal Crossing: New Horizons Fans Rejoice as Nintendo Ends Two-Year Wait For a Live Event

The last couple of years has been tough because of the global pandemic. With many events being affected, one such that was affected by the pandemic was Nintendo Live. However, as the pandemic saw a decline, many events were hosted in person this year. So, Nintendo Live 2022 is also returning after being absent for three years.

The Japanese video game giants host a two-day event in Japan. Fans can participate in competitions and try out newly released video games at the event. Moreover, the event hosts various musical concerts to keep the fans entertained. So, the fans wouldn’t get bored at the Nintendo Live 2022.

What would be there in the Nintendo Live 2022?

This Live 2022 event will be hosted at Tokyo Big Sight from October 8 to October 9. There would be a lot of activities for fans, including music concerts. Further, Animal Crossing fans would be delighted as they will have live music “DJ KK PARADISE MIX!!” of “Atsume Animal Crossing.”

This event would also host three performances during these days. Also, the performance at 2 AM Pacific Time on Sunday would be live-streamed on YouTube. There will be various gaming tournaments where different video games will be played, like Splatoon 3, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Nintendo Switch Sports.

Further, Nintendo would release original merchandise for the event, which would be available at My Nintendo Store. However, the merchandise stocks would be limited. So, it would be hard for every fan to get their hands on the merchandise. But there is no harm in giving it a shot. So, fans would have much to look forward to in this two-day event.

How to attend this Nintendo event?

Nintendo Live is a Japan-only event, so only fans living in the “land of the rising sun” can attend it. However, even living or being in japan wouldn’t guarantee entry to this event. Nintendo will only give access to those who won an advanced lottery draw.

The Japanese giants would be highly cautious about COVID-19. They will only permit vaccinated fans and masks will have to be worn all the time. Further, the Japanese company could possibly cancel the event, depending on the future spread of the virus. But they would inform the fans ahead of cancellation.
