Do you have any expensive plans for your gyroid collection? Gyroid fragments have been an important part of the Animal Crossing franchise since the beginning. They are just like other furniture that you can use to decorate your holiday home or island. However, what makes them a bit different from other furniture is the unique sounds they can make. Also, you can customize them using tools and kits available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Speaking of gyroids, recently, an Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan took gyroids to another level with science tanks. It’s like those expensive experiment setups that you cannot miss.
Unsurprisingly, the Reddit post has been a great hit among creative Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans. The comments section is filled with humorous remarks about this stunning discovery. Maybe this will even motivate other players in the game to try something like this in the near future. Maybe with a live turtle? Who knows, right?

How to get gyroids in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Thanks to the 2.0 Update, now you can get gyroids in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. 2.0 update is a game-changer for Animal Crossing fans as it added tons of new content back to the game. However, finding gyroids isn’t that simple as it looks. There are mainly two ways to get your hands on these cute collectibles. The first one is planting gyroid fragments.

To acquire these fragments, you have to visit an uncharted island on Kapp’n’s boat tour. Once you get those fragments, plant them on your Island just like a regular plant. Water them consistently and the very next day you can get a fully grown gyroid. However, something worth remembering here is that you can only visit the uncharted island once a day, so you are limited to the number of fragments you can get daily.
You can also get gyroids on your own Island. But you have to pay extra attention to those special circumstances. Just like fossils, you can dig gyroids up when it rains or snows on your Island. However, remember that you have to wait for a day before you start the digging process.
