The exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct event scheduled for October finally has a date. The island is officially in the Halloween season, as of October 1. And players are collecting candy before Jack visits with limited items on October 31st.
The Nintendo Direct event in September offered hope that New Horizons will soon have its own event for all upcoming features and update announcements for the following month(s). Now, the developers have revealed all the details of Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Direct event via Twitter.

The showcasing will now take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2021, at 7 AM PT/ 10 AM ET.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct: What Can Fans Expect from the Event?
As of the time of writing, the officials have not revealed much information about what the new update or the event will bring. The 20-minute showcasing will disclose all the new exciting content coming to the island in the month of November.
Even though Nintendo Direct did not give away much, Animal Crossing fans did get a little hint with the footage that was revealed at the event.

The November update is expected to bring a beloved The Roost to New Horizons. The Roost is a cafe that was a part of previous titles in the franchise. Roost is run by a well-known Pigeon character of the Animal Crossing series, Brewster. Interestingly, the Direct event is also going to take place on Brewster’s birthday. It may or may not be a coincidence. But there’s only one way to find out.
According to the popular Nintendo YouTube channel, SwitchForce, the direct event will reveal much more than just Brewster and the Roost. They also think the new update could be the long-awaited 2.0 update.

Whatever the developers plan to bring to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it will only come out next month. Fans can tune into Nintendo’s official YouTube link for the showcasing. Till then players can await Jack’s arrival and also an all-new seasonal holiday, Day of the Dead.
