Nintendo released Animal Crossing: New Horizons on March 20, 2020. The life simulation game was the perfect opportunity for people around the world to take on a virtual journey. It not only broke several records regarding physical game sales in Japan, but became very popular in the UK and the US.
From the looks of it, the game will continue this success even in 2021. This is clear from the enormous demand for the recently released Sanrio amiibo cards. In the US, they were up for sales exclusively on Target.

Furthermore, now at eBay, the same cards that merely cost $6 are now available at $50-$120. That’s something very heartbreaking to see, as no player would like to buy the cards for almost ten times its original rate.

A lot of players are expecting a restock eventually by Target. New Horizons has a vast community, and not even half of the community could get its hands on it. Nintendo wouldn’t want to see its fans disappointed like that and will step forward to help those in need.
According to YouTuber, SwitchForce, he has some intel on when Target might plan for a restock. He clarified we must consider the information with a pinch of salt. According to him, the restock date for all the Sanrio amiibo card will be April 28. Moreover, we might not see any online news of the card restock. All the cards might become available in stores and can be availed ‘first come first serve’.
