Animal Crossing allows players to experience various aspects of real life on their islands. As the in-game days go by, players experience changing seasons, migrating animals, and new events. Keeping this in mind, here are eight changes you can look forward to for April:
Animal Crossing seasonal crafting
From April 1-10, players in the Northern hemisphere will experience the onset of the ‘Sakura’ season, which signifies the blossoming of cherry blossom trees in Japan. Using these petals, you can craft items such as a cherry blossom pond, stone, lantern, and clock. These seasonal recipes can be found in the balloon gifts floating around the map.

Weather in Animal Crossing
From the start of April till the end of summer, players in the Northern hemisphere will no longer see fog appear near rivers or seas. But players in the Southern hemisphere will experience the exact opposite. From March 21, these players will encounter light fog near water and heavy fog across the island.
New Bugs and Fish
As the seasons change in new horizons, bugs, and fish migrate. This gives players the opportunity to catch unique insects and fish with every new season. In April, players in the Northern hemisphere will encounter 22 new critters in total. These include the snapping turtle, Madagascan sunset moth, and the sea pineapple.
On the other hand, players in the Southern hemisphere will receive six new species, including the ladybug, dab, and spiny lobster.
