Following his staggering success on YouTube, MrBeast has expanded his domain to other markets. He set foot in the fast food industry with his brand Beast Burgers in 2020. Since then, he has consistently grown his business empire with multiple brand deals and snack brand Feastables.

However, this journey has not been smooth sailing for the YouTuber. Recently, he came under legal trouble over a Feastables product. He is also in a lawsuit against the food delivery partner for Beast Burgers. Amidst all this legal trouble, a sponsor from one of his videos has come under fire from YouTuber’s fans.

Recently a post on Reddit started gaining traction online. The post contained a mail sent to a user of a company MrBeast endorsed by giving out a free dollar to every signup. While the YouTuber was successful in bringing over a big chunk of his fans, a move from the company is now forcing many to leave.

They recently updated their Account Agreement which put a charge of $5 per month on inactive users of over 12 months and an escheatment fee of $20. Furthermore, closing an account would cost the user $10, and express reordering a card would cost $30.

This revelation has caused unrest among the fans, with many taking to the internet to voice their dismay. While MrBeast did endorse the brand in the past, none of the netizens spoke against the beloved YouTuber.

Angry fans take to the internet to share their views

On the contrary, fans started to come forward in support of the YouTuber; stating he is not to be blamed for it. A fan said, “As much as nice guy Jimmy is, he really has a major issue with promoting shady companies/events/organizations.”

Another fan came forward to support the YouTuber, stating, “No matter how nice MrBeast is, companies will always try to take advantage of scams and make money. I believe MrBeast needs to create his own software so these sites don’t seem so sus.”

A fan even went on to state the YouTuber did his fair share of the work in the deal while the company was not providing adequate service. The fan claimed, “You can’t expect a shout-out to actually retain the ‘customers’ it brings.”

On the other hand, some fans even defended the company claiming, “It’s a bank company. all banks do this.”

Another fan called it a smart move from the company, “Basically a win for current. Charge people for not using their accounts/costing them money. Doesn’t apply to people using their account/making them money.”
