Far Cry is Ubisoft’s best-selling open-world first-person series. Ubisoft has given its fans several mainline games and several spin-offs. Some had players exploring a tropical island, while others had them acting like an 80s action hero on a neon-filled toxic island.

The variety this series has offered its fans in terms of gameplay style and locations is not matched by many. They even took players to Middle Paleolithic in Far Cry primal. In this game, players had to give up guns in favor of axes and spears. The point is that Ubisoft has always tried to keep the series fresh.

Recently launched Far Cry 6 followed in the footsteps of its predecessors and gave fans a new playground to play in. They also got a new charismatic yet dangerous enemy in Giancarlo Esposito’s Anton Castillo. They were introduced to this new enemy as he ruled his own small country as a dictator.

After Far Cry 6, players were treated with a bunch of downloadable content. Most feature similarly charismatic villains from previous games. And Now Ubisoft has finally released a trailer for the latest Far Cry 6 add-on, Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds. The DLC looks like a Far Cry take on the multiverse concept.

In the trailer, the series protagonist is seen somehow entering a celestial world full of doorways to odd locations. She has to find her way out of that place by helping the entity that actually pulled her in.

The new Far Cry 6 DLC has fans excited

The trailer for the DLC has fans hyped. Many are loving the direction in which Far Cry 6 is being taken. Most people are also excited because when Ubisoft did something so crazy with Far Cry: Blood Dragon, it turned out to be an awesome experience. And that’s why the trailer has met with some really positive reactions.

Maybe Ubisoft is trying to recreate a similar experience with this game too. We can see Dani shooting at weird-looking enemies with different colored guns that fire different colored bullets.

The DLC would be launching for $19.99 on December 6. Ubisoft has also launched a free trial of the game for people to try and a new Game Plus mode for players who have already completed this game.

Other than this new DLC, Ubisoft has numerous projects in development. From a remake of Splinter Cell to the next game in the Assassins Creed series called Mirage, fans as of now seem pretty happy with whatever Ubisoft is doing currently.

As for this upcoming DLC, we will have to see what kind of reception it gets at launch.
