Epic Games’ playground for crossovers and collaborations, Fortnite is back with this season’s Icon Series and the fans are in for a sweet surprise. The iconic trend started seasons ago, bringing some legendary industry stars such as Travis Scott and Ariana Grande to Fortnite.
Chapter 3 Season 1 has already seen some iconic collaborations. With Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson debuting as The Foundation, what more could the fans want? Howwver, it seems the developers found a way to take things one step further. On the return of the Icon Series, Fortnite is introducing the Silk Sonic Duo, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, sending fans into a meltdown of sorts on Twitter.

The battle royale in recent years has become more famous for its collaborations than its gameplay. Players of the challenging game take great honor in the game’s steep learning curve. However, the crossovers seem to gain more attention that the mechanics, even from the developers as well. But the fans are surely going to love this one. Rather, Epic Games hopes that is the case.

The Silk Sonic duo released their album, An Evening with Silk Sonic, in November 2021, topping charts all across the globe. Now, to dominate the radios on the island of Fortnite, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak arrive on February 10 at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT.
The stars land on the island in style with Silk Sonic set, each member with their personally designed items. Both the music industry giants will come along with three outfits of their own, one emote, and one pickaxe each.

Fans of Bruno Mars demanded specific emotes to be added to the game based on the musician’s iconic dance moves in his song.
