The Legend of Zelda series has a history that dates back to the late 1980s. Between its numerous installments, this game has set up Ganon as the main antagonist of this whole series. He is also the archenemy of the series’ main protagonists, Princess Zelda and Link.
So, it did not come as a surprise when Calamity Ganon was revealed to be the main villain of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He was missing for most of the game, yet established himself as the driving force behind everything wrong.
Link defeated all his forms and tried to bring back order to Hyrule, but Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom shows he didn’t quite succeed. Ganon is back, and he is asking his minions to destroy Hyrule once again and finish all its protectors.

And this time, what’s even scarier is the fact that this guy is in his real form. He is commanding an equally scary army that consists of enemies that weren’t even there in the last game. But still, fans suggest he is the good guy in this game; they point out a cinematic in Breath of the Wild that shows a character fighting a huge dragon. And that character has pale green skin and red hair, just like Ganon’s. This can mean anything, but for now, many believe that it means Ganon is a good guy in this upcoming game.
