Back in March 2022, Amouranth invested almost $2,000,000 in Activision Blizzard ($ATVI) following the news of their merger with Microsoft ($MSFT). Calling it her “first merger arbitrage”, she was expecting a 20% return on the fruition of the deal. Now in July 2023, she has revealed her profits. This revelation from the streamer shocked the fans. They are commending on the business-mindedness shown by the streamer and making the right decisions. The streamer currently enjoying profits from multiple avenues. While she will be getting more returns from the $ATVI stock, the streamer has already got a multi-million dollar paycheck.
She, along with prominent streamer xQc, recently got a hefty paycheck from Kick. They both signed a multi-million non-exclusive deal with Twitch’s rival. Now the fans are commending Amouranth for securing another bag from the Activision acquisition. But the streamer will have to sell the shares quickly as $ATVI stock is leaving the NASDAQ-100. However, there may be some more roadblocks to the deal. FTC might be looking to re-appeal the decision on that deal.
