Among Us took the world by storm after the game was released, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was initially available for Android, iOS, PC, and Nintendo Switch, but Innersloth has now decided to make the game available for the consoles as well.
Among Us is scheduled to be released for Xbox and PlayStation consoles soon and will support crossplay as well.

Among Us coming to consoles
Among Us became the most downloaded game due to its unique gameplay and because of the degree of engagement and intractability it offered. The game reached a milestone of 264 million downloads globally, with 41 million in the US alone. While Sony had already talked about the game coming to its consoles, Xbox recently announced the same, and Innersloth has further confirmed this information via a tweet.

WATCH THIS STORY – Video Game Franchises returning to console
The game will be out for Xbox and PlayStation consoles and will support crossplay with other platforms. Moreover, the title is being added to the Gamepass. This cross-play version will be available in Sony and Microsoft stores for a price of $4.99. On their official blog site, Innersloth added notes, “The Crewmate Edition will be sabotaging shelves in the UK and Europe on December 14, with a Japanese and South Korean release following shortly on December 16. The US, Canadian and Latin American release will follow on January 11, 2022.”
They further added that the Imposter an Ejected Edition will launch in multiple territories in spring 2022; PlayStation players will be able to exclusively access the Ratchet and Clank-themed skins within the game.
