Video games getting remastered and then ported to next-generation consoles isn’t something new in the gaming industry. However, it has been incredibly popular lately. Many classic titles are getting remastered for the latest generation of consoles. Even Nintendo has remastered many of its titles, like the DS games Pokemon Diamond and Pearl for their Switch.
Currently, however, there are two The Legend of Zelda titles that are being considered for the port, and one cannot stop wondering Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker to be the perfect options. There have been many titles in this series, but these two are counted among the top ten. Twilight Princess sold over 8.6 million copies, the second highest sales for a Zelda game after Breath of the Wild. Meanwhile, The Wind Waker sold 4.6 million copies.
Both these games were released on GameCube. Twilight Princess hit the shelves three years after the release of The Wind Waker in 2003. Both games are favorites among Zelda fans and they were ported to the later generation of Nintendo consoles. Twilight Princess was first ported to Wii and then the Wii U. As for Wind Waker, it didn’t get ported to Wii, but it was available on Wii U.
