The Starfield developers have made it a habit to surprise their fans. The upcoming Bethesda giant is already enjoying the surreal hype of the community. As we move closer to its release, fans were expecting some more exciting updates on the game on the opening night of Gamescom 2023. Well, it seems like the developers had a larger plan as they unveiled a glimpse of the Fallout TV Series. 

The Gamescom 2023 marks it as the perfect platform for industry giants to make major announcements. There have been a number of speculations running around the much-awaited adaptation of the Bethesda giant Fallout. The gaming community is expecting the Fallout TV series to be the next big thing in the gaming-cinema collaboration after The Last of Us. The latest footage of the upcoming series is rather intriguing.

Todd Howard, the director of Starfield has teased the opening night attendees with the first glimpse teaser for the forthcoming Bethesda and Amazon Prime collaboration. The Starfield director has been a fan of the creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan. Before beginning with the night’s surprise, he talked about the spectacular works of both individuals. Moreover, Todd Howard has mentioned that Starfield was inspired by the Nolan brother’s evergreen masterpiece ‘Interstellar.’

Hence, a project that includes astronomical enthusiasts has to be something beyond special. The Starfield director has expressed his excitement about working with the Interstellar creator to implement the cinematic adaptation of Fallout. Just like the role-playing game, the TV series will be based on post-apocalyptic space exploration.

A lot of fans have also pointed out some significant visuals from Starfield that seem highly inspired by the Fallout franchise. With the world now coming to the screen, fans wouldn’t like to wait much longer. 

A spectator describes the footage

Unfortunately, as Todd Howard has confirmed, the footage shown during the event won’t be released online. While the footage does reveal that the Fallout TV show is almost done with its post-production phase, netizens would have to wait for the next official update online. Till the time being, one of the spectators described the ambitious project’s initial glimpse.

They wrote, “There were three scenes which really caught my attention: A wall of Brotherhood of Steel soldiers marching against a stark background, the suits rich with detail – rendered as you remember them from the game. There was the tease of one of the most iconic Fallout scenes, as a Vault Dweller held their hand to their face to shield their eyes against the sun as they stepped from a vault for the first time, with an Overseer slamming it closed behind them.”
