All You Should Know About Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Themed PS5 Console: Features, Price and Release Date

Fans can’t wait for one of the most awaited PS5 exclusives, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s release on the 20th of October. And Sony and Insomniac have turned almost every stone to ensure that the promotional activities of the game can ignite the excitement of the players. And now PlayStation announced an exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man 2-themed PlayStation 5 console.

From live-action promotional billboards to Spider-Man 2-themed Adidas sneakers, fans are currently over the moon with Sony’s dedicated attempt to promote the game. And now with an exclusive PlayStation 5 console, they cannot keep calm but eagerly wait for the game’s release.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2-themed PS5 console: Features and additional items

In line with the fact that it is one of the most awaited PS5 exclusives of the year, Sony PlayStation launched an exclusive Spider-Man 2-themed PlayStation 5 console, which offers some amazing features. The external design of both the console and the controller is one of the highlights of the themed console. It features the logo of Spider-Man in white like on the advanced suit, with the color being red and black, symbolizing the conflict between Venom and Spider-Man. This shows the moment when the symbiote takes over your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. However, this is just about the aesthetics.

The limited edition PS5 console comes with Limited Edition console covers, the designed controller, a voucher for a digital copy of the game, and pre-order bonuses.

The limited edition console was priced $599.99 on playstation direct.

Spider-Man 2 Collector’s Edition

Then there’s the collector’s edition. By purchasing the Collector’s Edition of the game, PS will offer players:

• Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 full game digital voucher code. (Please note that players need their PSN account and an internet connection to redeem the voucher, which will work from 20th October).
• A SteelBook display case
• A 19-inch Collector’s Edition statue of both the Spider-Men and Venom.

PlayStation has also offered exclusive additional items on pre-order. This includes:

• Arachknight suit for Peter with three color options
• Shadow-Spider Suit for Miles with three color options.
• +3 plus skill points
• An exclusive web grabber gadget for early unlock.

Pre-ordering also gives access to the voucher for Digital Deluxe contents. Sony has priced the collector’s edition box at $229.99 and  and it will be available from the 20th of October. 

Will Sony also release an exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man 2-themed console for PS 5 Slim?

Since Sony has revealed their upcoming PS 5 slim, fans wonder whether Sony will also launch an exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man 2-themed PS 5 slim console in the future. Sony previously confirmed that their current PS5 model will eventually be replaced and PS5 Slim will be Sony’s latest console. However, they have not announced anything officially about an exclusive Spidey-themed console for PS5 Slim.

However, fans do not need to worry as this exclusive console will surely take them to an unbelievable adventure in the the upcoming Spider-Man 2.
