The former most subscribed creator on YouTube, Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg aka PewDiePie, has again found himself centered in a massive ongoing controversy. The Internet is raging over the AI arts, trying to surpass IRL artists. After it was proved that AI software uses art from actual artists to generate its pieces, artists raged up all over the world.

On Twitter, Artists have been revolting over the AI Art phenomenon in their own way. Independent artists are being vocal about AI trying to steal their livelihoods. Online Social Media platforms have been filled with raging artist expressing their distaste toward AI art. Among all this drama, PewDiePie again managed to throw a very controversial statement about the whole movement. 

PewDiePie shares his thought on the Anti AI Art movement 

Undoubtedly, PewDiePie had gone through a fair share of controversies in his career. The Swedish YouTuber had made many controversial choices and actions in the past that caused some dire consequences. But as time went on, Felix had shown great development in his character.

As he grew older, his compulsive and edgy character was replaced by a calm and mature individual, who for a long time was detached from any major controversies or drama. In many instances, he had stated that he is basically “retired” right now. Even his content has drastically changed. Instead of screaming in front of a camera and making problematic jokes, Felix right now focuses on making calm aesthetic vlogs and reaction videos.

But his hiatus from Controversies may no longer be a possibility. In a recent reaction video named, “Why I deleted the subreddit” PewDiePie brought back his beloved Reddit reaction series. In this series, he reacts to his fan-made memes and artwork posted on the official Subreddit of PewDiePie.

A fan posted AI-generated fan art of PewDiePie on the subreddit, which appeared on the video. This is where the drama began. Seeing the AI art on his timeline, Pewds brought up the Anti AI movement by Artists all over the world. He exclaimed that the AI art is so good that he can’t tell what is real and what is generated. He said, “All the AI art that’s come out, and I can’t tell. I could be like that’s amazing you drew that’s cool but I will be like, that’s probably AI”.

All these Artists crying about AI ‘They replacing us’ we are all gonna be replaced with AI. Just Deal with it, please,” added the Swedish Youtuber. So far the art world has come together on social media to post Anti AI pictures that have proven to be effective against the software. But the drama is nowhere near being sorted and this comment from such an influential YouTuber can just be the perfect timber to fuel the fire to new heights.
