Days ago, one of the voice actors from CoD: MW3 shared an emotional message with the community. While the message did elevate the game’s sentimental value, the game design itself so far has failed to outweigh its issues. Now, Stephen Ford has taken to social media to demand that Activision should give the devs more wriggling room. Ford has been a long-time fan of the franchise and believes there hasn’t been a bad entry to the series until Modern Warfare 3.
“Just a far cry from the stellar storytelling of MW2019 and Cold War“, wrote Ford on X, formerly Twitter. Without gritty storytelling, the actor thinks a Call of Duty game just doesn’t feel right. Ford’s post received a lot of agreeing fans who flocked to share their opinion about Modern Warfare 3 and how they think the devs failed.
Ford still believes there are plenty of standout moments in the game: the cinematics are exquisite. However, the Teen Wolf actor also feels like the entire game is one giant Spec-Ops mission. Ford didn’t feel the things that constitute a Call of Duty game in his mind and thought Modern Warfare 3 deviates significantly from the original MW series.

More issues than just a poorly-made game
CoD: MW3’s early access is already highlighting several issues with the game. The game launches publicly on November 10 and the community hopes the issues are addressed ASAP. Along with the game’s poor design, its mind-boggling size is another thing that’s not sitting well with many fans.
At over 200GB, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is making it difficult to store other AAA titles along with itself. However, Fans will no doubt try their hands at the game for themselves before questioning its place in the popular FPS franchise for good.
