Also, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II multiplayer modes are divided into two kinds, 6v6 and 32v32. Let’s dive deeper to understand more about these modes.

6v6 Multiplayer Mode

As the name suggests, 6v6 mode is where a team of six players goes up against another group of six. The one that meets the requirements of the modes available under the 6v6 mode wins.

Team Deathmatch: This 2022 first-person shooter will feature the fan-favorite Team Deathmatch, where two teams will face each other, and the first to reach 75 kills will win the match.

Domination: Next multiplayer mode in Modern Warfare II is Domination, where teams will clash to take control of three zones marked as A, B, and C, which will also award points. The first team to pile up 200 points wins a Domination match.

Free-for-All: One of the most exciting modes has to be the Free-for-All. In this mode, there is no team, and everyone fights for themselves. The first player to eliminate 30 enemies wins the game. Moreover, the following two players behind the ace player in this round also take home victories.

Headquarters: The game features a Headquarter mode where a team would work on capturing an HQ while the other defends. Once a team captures an HQ, they become the defenders. Moreover, the defending players can’t respawn. The team that reaches 200 points first wins the game.

Hardpoint: Teams will clash to take control of a Hardpoint and then defend it. Further, the Hardpoints on a map will change throughout a match. The team that first reaches the score of 250 points stands victorious in a Hardpoint match.

Search & Destroy: In the search & destroy mode, two teams will face each other in turns. One team will be the attackers who will plant a bomb, while the other team will act as defenders and prevent the plantation of the bomb. The first team to win six rounds will win this multiplayer mode match.

Prisoner Rescue: Players would take on the role of attackers to rescue two hostages from a group of players guarding them, the defenders. Attackers will get 100 points for each hostage. Meanwhile, the defenders will get 50 points for each hostage when they prevent them from escaping. The first team with 500 points wins this Prisoner Rescue mode.

Knock Out: This round is similar to the Search & Destroy, where two teams will clash in a few rounds of limited time. The teams would have to get their hands on a bag full of money. The last team to hold the bag in hand wins the round. A team can also eliminate all enemies to win a round. The first team to win six rounds would take the victory.

32v32 Multiplayer Mode

It’s an interesting multiplayer mode where 64 players will play together and would be divided into two teams of 32 players. The first team to meet the requirements of 32v32 rounds wins the game. Now let’s see what the 32v32 match modes are that might also potentially be the new favorites for gamers.

Invasion: The developers have created a multiplayer mode of chaos with Invasion mode. In this mode, two teams with a mix of players and AI would fight each other. The team to get 2000 points first would win the game. Players can use various items available in this mode, like vehicles, Killstreak crates, and armored agents.

Ground War: Ground War can be said as a bigger and more dynamic version of the 6v6 round, Domination. Further, the first team to gather 250 points wins the match or the Ground War.
