CDPR promised the stars and moon with Cyberpunk 2077 before its release. However, after the game launched, fans were disappointed with how buggy it was. Many fans even stopped playing the game altogether. For a dev studio like CD Projekt Red, something like this was unprecedented and players weren’t happy.
The devs promised to change the community views on Cyberpunk 2077 and went to work for quite a long time. Now, Phantom Liberty is set to arrive and fans are once again excited to see what it has to offer. From what we believe, the game will have tons of new features and will feel like a whole new thriller game in itself.
Before release CP2077 2.0 and PL please check conditions of your cooling systems in PC. We use all what you have, so workload on CPU 90% on 8 core is expected. To save your time please run Cinebench or similar and check stability of your systems 😉https://t.co/TWOAkP0ONu

However, some fans are concerned as one of the devs has made some questionable statements on X, formerly Twitter. Filip Pierściński says that Phantom Liberty just might put 90% workload on all 8 CPU cores, making it a very high-demand game to run. The dev also advised checking the cooling systems of PCs so that the hardware doesn’t give away while playing the game at native settings.

Pierściński also thinks running benchmark tests before playing Phantom Liberty should be a good idea. While gamers have become used to high-demand games in recent years, such claims might tick a few fans off. Assuming that every player has a formidable rig to run games isn’t something that has become the norm just yet.
Community eager to learn more about the update
From what we know so far, Phantom Liberty will have new vehicular combat and a new police system. It’s also supposedly going to take place in new areas and players can enjoy tunes on a new radio station. A better gameplay experience with more in-game things to do will also keep players hooked to the game for quite some time in the future.
