Sentinels have been going through some dramatic changes since last year. The team has been revamped quite many times to meet the expected heights placed by the fans. The introduction of Syyko, Zekken, and Dephh from Xset was a monumental move made by Sentinels. Moreover, they added former Loud players Sacy and pANcada to the team to strengthen the roster.

TenZ was the only remaining member of the Masters winning squad that Sentinels featured during the first-ever international LAN event of Valorant.

But now he is benched for the upcoming super week. Tyson has been having a difficult time in the past few weeks. The star player who is considered the face of NA Valorant eSports played his recent match against Leviatan with an infected hand. Apart from that, he has also been tested positive for Covid.

The 21-year-old also has been affected regarding some of his private matters, thus Kaplan announced that they are giving TenZ a break for the moment. As a replacement, they are bringing in Marved, who recently joined Sentinels as their sixth member.

Marved has been part of Valorant Masters winners OpTic gaming and is considered a veteran player of the game. Thus, adding him to the roster increases the hopes even more. This is the first time Sentinels are going into a match without their Master’s winning squad.

Fans are quite saddened by the sudden benching of TenZ. But there were some who thinks this decision is good for the team in the long run.

We all can hope that TenZ comes back even stronger after this well-deserved rest. Sentinels will be facing Loud and Mibr, the Brazilian powerhouses in the coming week. These matches are very crucial for the team if they want to qualify for the playoffs of the league. Currently, they are in the lower middle half of the leaderboards.
