The guys at Dambuster Studios have a surprise for you, so get your weapons ready to withstand HELL-A. Before it reached Dambuster, the Dead Island 2 project had been bouncing around since 2016 and going through many hands. And we can finally reveal that the sequel to the zombie sandbox is on its way. And what’s more interesting is that you won’t even have to wait until April 28. Dead Island 2 has already started development, thus it is currently being refined in preparation for entering the well-known “gold” phase.
In summary, Deep Silver has chosen to move forward with the release date of Dead Island 2 by seven days.

After being initially announced in 2014, Dead Island 2 was intended to be published in 2015, yet here we are more than seven years later, still waiting for the game to be released. We’d lost count of how many times they had postponed it (the most recent was in November), and the list of studios that had taken on the project before abandoning it.
To commemorate this long-awaited event, the two businesses have agreed to lessen the wait for fans by releasing the game a week ahead of plan. As announced on Twitter, the game’s release date will now be April 21, 2023.

With all the unbelievable action and dark humor that the fans have come to expect, a slight sneak peek was on display recently. During the Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event in 2022, a gory trailer of the game was unveiled. The trailer is sure to send the players on a bloody, sludge trip to escape Los Angeles while plunging into zombie-infested mayhem.
So far, they have revealed three new enemies to match with the altered release date. Each has unique characteristics “that make them even more unpleasant than the average infected”. There are three zombie variants: infernal crusher, spiked runner, and livestock walker.

Carla is a survivor, who is a stunt rider with an extroverted personality and unbounded physical confidence.
The PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 editions of the game will be available through the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders are currently being accepted on all platforms.
